It’s summer time and we are hopping with some fabulous companies in the Summer Road Trip Partner Hop with Spellbinders.
Stampendous Stamps is hopping all three days with some fabulous summer inspiration from the design team and today two of our designers will be featured a tutorial with some new Spellbinders products! How fun is that!
Prizes
Spellbinders is having a great giveaway during this hop with three daily winners and one grand prize winner! Check out the details here. We also have a copy of the Stampendous Official Rules here.
Here is my project, which actually also works for the Stampendous theme of the week: "By the Sea".
I used the Stampendous Seahorse Ride Rubber Stamp and colored it with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. The beautiful white lacey corners and edge are made with the Spellbinders Lace Doily Accents. The corners and edge are actually made with the same cut, as it was really long and I couldn't use it all on the bottom of the card. I also stencilled the Dreamweaver Stencil LM 104 Nautilus with a small stencil brush and a Splendor Ink pad on shrink plastic. I punched a hole with my Big Bite and shrunk it to make a charm.
The lovely blue and green shiny ribbon is by May Arts. I know that I often get products for free to create projects. In this case, the image of the mermaid and the ribbon are the only products that I did not purchase.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Be sure to check out the rest of the players today:
