This month's Dreamweaver Challenge is Summertime, Sparklers and S'more. This week, I was inspired by all the fireflies that seem to surround my house all summer.
I used black coated aluminum by Mercart. I ran the Hello Stencil LS 96 and Mosaic Swirls LJ 801 through my Cuttlebug. I sanded the metal to reveal the aluminum.
I pasted the Dragonfly Stencil LM 193 with Black Matte Paste. When it was dry, I used my finger to apply Moonstone Metallic FX, Kiwi Metallic FX and Ivy Garden Metallic FX. Then, I assembled it with card stock, a gorgeous May Arts ribbon and two rhinestones.
The dragonfly really shimmers. Here is a closer look:
Now, you should take a look at all the other team members playing today, get inspired, and create something yourself. Send a picture of your creation to lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com for your chance to win this month's prize.
