Perfect Pets

This week our team will be showcasing the Art Grip Aquarelles Watercolor Pencils, the PITT Pastel Pencils, and our very special guest Nathalie Kalbach will be featuring the Gelatos! There will be guest-starring roles by the PITT Artist Pens for doodling and drawing!

3 Lucky Winners this week will get three sets of the PITT Pastel Pencils (red/yellow, blue/green, neutrals), a jar of Faber-Castell Chalkboard Paint, and $20http://www.stampendous.com reward card to choose their favorite images to color! WOW… these winners must have a U.S. mailing address (official rules here!)… BUT WAIT-Aussie Fans – The Stencil Specialist has you covered again this time!! One Australian Fan will win a Stampendous Stamp, a Dreamweaver Stencil (LJ size customer choice), and one Dreamweaver Stencils Regular Embossing Paste. Wow!!

Now, on to my post.  It actually does triple duty as, of course, it is created with Faber Castell, but also contains Dreamweaver Stencils AND fits this week's Stampendous team of Perfect Pets.
I created a puppy box.  First, I covered a paper mache heart shaped box with Faber-Castell Chalk Board Paint.  I used two coats.  When it was completely dry, I used an ordinary pencil to trace Dreamweaver Stencil LL 3029 Dog and LG 749 Dog Words on the paint.  I made sure to use a very sharp pencil.  Then, I colored the images with PITT Pastel Pencils.  I lightly blew off the excess pastel.  It seems to have stuck to the Chalkboard Paint very well, but if you are nervous about it wearing off, you could spray it with a fixative.  That was it!

Let’s check out today’s inspiration from our designers, and don't forget to leave comments for your chance to win!

This post is also a Dreamweaver Post for me.  Here are the links of designers who are participating in that hop today:
Because this post is actually triple-duty with the Perfect Pets theme, the Stampendous designer also posting for that is:
