Doodlie Doo

This week, the designers for Stampendous have a doodling (Zentangle) challenge.  For my post, I have decided to use one stencil in two, slightly different ways.  I traced the Open Fish Stencil lightly, with a pencil, on white card stock.  I traced it a second time, but flipped the stencil.

I created the doodles with my Faber Castell Pitt Pens in black.  I used all four of the pens.  The brush pen was used only for the thickest lines.  As the lines get thinner, the doodling gets a little lighter.  After I was done with the doodling, I thought it needed a little color.  I used the Aquarelle Pencils in the Yellow Set for all of the coloring on the fish.  For the background, I pasted on turquoise paper with the Pearlescent Embossing Paste.  I used the LJ 901 Mosaic Swirls Stencil for this background.  Of course, I needed the removable tape and the Paste Spreader for this.
